Hi there,

I have an iBook 12" 933 Mhz with YDL 3.0, it works great, but when I try to compile a newer kernel, its a hell of a job. I tried using the config in the /boot folder, but it gives me some errors while building the modules (this config should the good one), I also tried some .config files I found in the internet, even with different kernels, but I never get everything working fine (sometimes the X, sometimes the audio, sometimes the pmud).

Any help??

thanksssss.....

Are you tring to go from a 2.4.x kernel to a 2.6.x kernel-the readme says that theyve changed a lot of the way the config file sets the modules and features in the kernel; run make menuconfig and go from there; also are u using the vanella source from kernel.org or using the 2.6.x off of ppckernel.org
