ksoftirqd CPU utilization 100%

Postby ahmadlashgar » 07 Sep 2010, 10:00

Salam Everyone,

I've installed YDLforCUDA 6.2.1 but there is kernel process that utilizes CPU so much.
Top instruction shows "ksoftirqd/0" has about 100% cpu utilization.
Current kernel is 2.6.18; YDLforCUDA default.
My processors ar 2x Xeon 4-Core Hyperthread.
It is interesting that ksoftirqd for other cores are idle (ksoftirqd/1, ksoftirqd/2, ... and ksoftirqd/15).
Why this happens? And Is there anyway get ride of this utilization?
Thanks alot.
