g3 400 powerbook pismo - gfx acceleration

Hi,

does anyone know what settings / drivers i need to use with yellowdog 3 to get hardware acceleration enabled for this powerbook? i would like to be able to watch dvd's on it ?? I have the software installed to watch dvd's they are just to jerky to watch with the default drivers

unfortunatly looking at the YDL hardware support pages; the prismo powerbook's 3d doesnt work. Ill look up the hdparm settings to see if there arent a few things you cant tweak to help get better playback.

on another note: make sure you download the latest version of the software from its respective home page.
I have always personally had the best experience with xine and would highly suggest it

thanks, i have xine installed but when watching a dvd i am lucky if i get one frame per second wheres a i know with osx it worked smoothly so the gfx hardware sis up to the task if i can only figure out a way to get it working, any help will be appreciated
