Yellow Dog 3.01 and Sonnet Sonata PCI video card

Postby Dr Evil » 10 Oct 2004, 19:05

Anybody know how to make a Sonnet Sonata PCI Video work?

When I install Yellow Dog, It works perfect

After a reboot, It looks terrible and the video is not detected correctly

Ok here is my computer config:

Beige Box G3/300Mhz
384MB Ram
USB Card
Ultra ATA/100 Card
120GB Internal HDD

I have to use BootX because my computer is oldworld

Does anybody know if I need to type in kernal arguments before booting?

Please help me

Take a look at the kernel and system messages and see if there isnt anything in the logs (/var/logs) relating to video-these will probably be some error messages there that will help w/ this. Theyre time stamped so it should be fairly easy to find.
