USB webcam on PowerBook G4

Is there support for USB webcams e.g. Logitech Express, under YDL on a Powerbook G4 (Jan 2003 vintage)?

i believe so; my desktop Mandrake setup lets me use one. Though i think that it will require a kernel compile as it uses the v4l (video for linux modules/settings) the 2.6.x kernels may have the driver already in its source
