Yellow Dog Linux

I'm trying to get a webcam running on ydl 6.0 on a g5. There's a little message I get with dmesg | tail but no hint as to what device the thing is being assigned to. On my other linux installs (non ydl) it just shows up as /dev/video0.. and, I should add, works without any problems. (it's a Logitech Quickcam Communicate STX)

it looks like I need a spca5xx driver for it. I was hoping someone had some experience with this -- I'll post as I find things out...
