Corrupt XF86Config

Postby okeefe1961 » 08 Jan 2005, 05:20

Just finished installing YDL 4. on my 12 iBook. My screen was not crisp as expected so I tried changing my XF86config file - device was fsdev? so I changed it to radeon. Now when it boots I can't see anything. How can I boot it in text mode so I can edit the XF86Config file?
Thx. Craig

3 possible solutions. 1 boot off a live disk and mount and fix the the file from there. 2 ssh into the machine (if you have sshd enabled) and 3 if you reboot the machine (unless you've changed the default lvl to 5) it should drop you into a usable shell
Til our paths cross again
