Change number of colors or resolution kills X at reboot, X says file NOT found.
YD 4.01 on QuickSilver 733 with ATI Radeon 7500.
Multiple re-installs because of this bug!
Just lost the box again and didn't actually change any setting?

was the system upto date when this happens (i believe that there is a update on X11 out)

need to see your XF86Config to see what is up there--look at some of my posts about this problem--I have mine finally ironed out to where it works good for me--
