Oops -- I shot the food!
That was cool playing Gauntlet online -- it works great, but could use voice chat like you said. Apparently a DS version is getting voice chat:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gauntlet_(arcade_game)
The Nintendo DS overhaul of the original Gauntlet is being developed by Backbone Entertainment. The remake, which is expected to be released September 1st, 2008, will feature an entirely new 3D graphical engine, online four-player mode, and voice chat capabilities
