Whats your favorite game?

Lets have a little poll on what games you guys like. Personally I like CoD4 and Warhawk and have the skill to prove it. I play CoD4 more but Warhawk is awsome too. Feel free to challenge me in either game. My PSN name is uncholowapo.
PS3 40GB has YDL 6.1 running 480i on a piece of $#!% Sanyo 24 incher. Need to go to 1080p.

Heh - I don't have any of those games for the PS3.

Heavenly Sword, The Orange Box, Ratchet & Clank Future, flOw are some of the PS3 games I have.

So far - I've been using the PS3 more for PS2 games. Yeah - what a waste - I know. :)

Cheers,
Paul

I've played all of those games except The Orange Box. Heavenly Sword is my Favorite Cinematic game. I like flOw for its motion sensitive controls.

Well - I must confess - the only thing I've played in The Orange Box is Portal.

I was trying to be principled about it, and not buy the collection, since there are some weird framerate issues with Half Life 2 in the Orange Box on the PS3.

But - then I got it as an X-mas present. :)

Portal is pretty dang awesome. Every time I pop the Orange Box in the drive to explore Half Life 2, I end up playing Portal. One of these days, I'll get around to the other games. :)

Cheers,
Paul

Warhawk is really entertaining, i don't think Rainbow Six Vegas 2 graphics are up to par for the PS3. COD4 is my favourite due to the online multiplayer, soo much fun!
HL2 is good btw, you should try it also!

Lately, I've been digging the BioShock & Soul Calibur IV demos. I might have to get both of those.

Cheers,
Paul

P.S. There's an arcade stick for Soul Calibur IV - yay! :)

Yes -- and it looks like a regular joystick to Linux, so it works well with most emulators and games.

Cake! I have acrophobia so it freaks me out and I can't play it for long before I have to take a break.

My favorite PS3 game is Oblivion, which is one of the main reasons I got around to buying my PS3, another one being LInux. Poor midgar (my PS2 with a Linux install) was going to die eventually.

You should check out Fallout 3, then.

I don't know if this is going to be a favorite - but I'm digging Little Big Planet right now. :D

Oh it's on my list.....after I finish the majority of Oblivion, which by my estimate will take long enough that Fallout 3 should be a budget title.

Yes, Little Big Planet is great! I haven't gotten very far yet ... playing with my wife and 7 yr old can make some of the levels ... challenging. :) Starting to see some really good user-created levels now.

I love Oblivion, too ... I have problems sticking with the same character very long, though. Once my character gets killed the first time I sort of lose the attachment to that character and start thinking about making a new one ... I guess this is from my AD&D and Rolemaster playing days. In those games, generally once your character dies you just make a new one (after feeling bad for a while :P). Finishing Oblivion without ever getting killed would be rather tough for me, though!
