Hi,
Recently my ISP went back to 12Mbps, so it pissed me off a little bit because in my contract it said 20Mbps (actually, they never provided me with that speed). So I asked some questions to their customer-service and they throwed me some answers, but they are hard to check on reliability. So hopefully someone can help me with a few questions...
Point one is they said the Noise Margin is currently @ 11.6 dB, and they added that it's too low to make an update and it will not go faster than 12Mbps.
The second thing, which I'm searching an answer for is, wether ADSL (PSTN) is limited to 8,xxx Mbps? And where can I find this info? My ISP claims that you need an ADSL2+ modem to get 12Mbps speed, because ADSL (PSTN) is limited to 8.976 Mbps.
I would seriously be gratefull for an answer on my second question.
Thanks in advance,
