Board layout

I've been considering creating a new section on this board for PS3-specific support issues ... generally everything gets lumped into the PS3 architecture forum.

This would allow for better organization and keep all the PS3-specific issues out of the general discussion/support section. On the other hand, there aren't that many users with other PPC systems that are posting here ...

The PS3 section would look something like this:

Installation Help
Get help with installing Yellow Dog Linux here.

Configuration

Discuss general configuration issues here.

General Support
(the current PS3 Architecture forum could be moved here)
General YDL Support.

Multimedia Support
Discuss Audio and Video playback issues here.

Networking Support
Wired and wireless networking support.

Hardware Support
Support for hardware add-ons and accessories.

Gaming & Emulation
Here you can discuss native Linux gaming and emulation related issues.

Software Installation & Support
Discuss general software installation & configuration issues here.

Software Development
Discuss general PS3 Linux software development here.

Guides & How-To Articles
Post your guides and how-to articles here. Add your comments and questions to a guide, but don't post a new thread to ask a question.

This is the way I have it laid out on forums.ps3bodega.com.

Once the new layout is completed, relevant posts could be moved into the correct forums.

Any opinions and/or suggestions on this?

Anyone? Bueller ... Bueller ... Bueller ... :D I don't want to go changing things if it might create a rift in space-time continuum...

That's a great idea, I was thinking something similar myself.
