Given the recent blitz by spambot/lusers, I think we need a honeypot.

I was thinking more along the lines of SQLite's honeypot.

I don't program 'bots, so I don't know if it's feasible.

The old version of the board had a simple human verification question added to the phpBB registration process (not just the CAPTCHA image) that must have worked very well. Paul and I ban spammers on an almost daily basis here, but on the old version there really was no active admin for a long time and it wasn't a big issue.

This would have be added by Fixstars, though, since we don't have that level of access to the server.

Oh, well... it was worth asking.
