Common issues for PS3 Users

We tend to answer the same questions over and over -- I'd like to identify the common problems for new YDL / PS3 users and gather all the info into one "after you install" post (or at least link to solutions). Off the top of my head I can think of:

* Sixaxis not syncing in GameOS after installing YDL 6.1

* Set up IBM Java & plugin for Firefox

* Create symbolic link to IBM Java so it's used instead of GCJ for Java apps like Frostwire

* Enabling playback of MP3 and various video formats

* Youtube :P Why it doesn't work and how to get it working via jaybps3's method

* Briefly discuss x86 vs PPC and why you can't use WINE or other apps that rely on x86

* Changing screen resolution; fixing Enlightenment "desktop" alignment afterward

* How to switch between Enlightenment & GNOME

* Issues re: install on SDTV (unsupported, but many use SDTV anyway)

* Difference between "regular user" and "root user" and how to use su command or set up sudo

...

I'm sure there are more ... anyone else?

And another thing ... YDL on PS3 users tend to be new to Linux in general, so we need to assume this is the case in describing any solutions.

Great Idea. Will be on the look out for this once it's complete.
