Postby bonedome » 31 Jan 2009, 19:02

Hello
anyone with a laptop might like to try this http://adeona.cs.washington.edu/, well if you live in a laptop thieves' paradise anyway.
Actually I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work on my precious ps3 hmmmm
60Gb ps3 otheros awol. currently playing:bad company and farcry 2 again (seeing how far I can get using permadeath principle)update: regretfully Warren Clyde was involved in a shootout south of Pala and killed when he was hit by a land rover. RIP Warren

The Mac OS X version also has an option to capture pictures of the laptop user or thief using the built-in iSight camera and the freeware tool isightcapture. Like your location information, these images are privacy-protected so that only the laptop owner (or an agent of the owner's choosing) can access them

LOL wouldn't that be awesome?

Doesn't MAC OSX have one of these included that uses the IPV6 protocol to send the pictures? I could of sworn I remember reading something up like this. Either way it's way cool.
PS3 40GB has YDL 6.1 running 480i on a piece of $#!% Sanyo 24 incher. Need to go to 1080p.
