McCain-Kerry "Privacy Bill"

Postby aguilarojo » 13 Apr 2011, 23:10

The McCain Kerry "privacy bill" allows government and corporations to ignore any requirements to seek warrants or permission to access or acquire either personal records or private corporate records! Unfortunately, the way the bill has been written allows the U.S. and it's various Agencies to operate according to one cyber-security definition exactly as a strategy known as a Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attack. An MITM attack is essentially a process whereby the user/consumer and Service Provider (here defined as the Company or Non-Profit or other Project providing a service the user/consumer is interested in acquiring or learning about) are both unaware that a third party is present and acquiring information regarding their transactions and other activities involved in any data exchange between them.

Another presentation of the problem is discussed by CNET.

Everything on the Earth has a purpose.
Every disease an herb to cure it.
And every person has a mission.
This is the Indian Theory of Existence.
