Hi folks,

I was browsing around the internet looking for up to date rpm's to install on ydl. I found this goldmine which i think yellowdog should include these same packages with updates.
you will guaranteed drop jaw.

enjoy.

*gets jaw off of the floor*

I don't think this site would work with yum because I didn't see a header file.

I don't know how useful and/or compatible anything in there would be, but here's a working link ...

ftp://master-ftp.pld-linux.org/dists/3. ... /ppc/RPMS/

Looks like they too have dropped PPC support:

http://www.pld-linux.org/
"August 1st, 2009:
ppc and athlon architectures are now officially abandoned. rpm packages are still on ftp in "unmaintained" directory but no new packages are being build."

You can still get to the PPC RPMS though:

ftp://master-ftp.pld-linux.org/dists/3.0/
