WPA is a security method. Wireless security methods include WEP and WPA (technically WPA-PSK).

YDL has issues with WPA-PSK - but there are some workarounds.

Cheers,
Paul

P.S. To the original poster - sorry - I use WEP with my YDL installation. :)

right now I'me back in OS X (tiger) for professional reasons, but from the time I used YDL it seemed the wireless only worked at 11Mbps.

Can anyone confirm this?

That speed would indicate that only 802.11b Wireless is supported. My guess is that's a wireless hardware limitation, and not specific to YDL 5.0 or 6.0.

In other words, my PS3 running YDL 5.0.2 connects wirelessly via 802.11g at 54 Mbps. YDL supports 802.11g (54) or 802.11b (11) transparently - it's my wireless card and access point that determine the speed from there.

Cheers,
Paul
