anyone out there tried the ekiga softphone that's in the gnome desktop apps menu.
Or got mic/headphones working.
EDIT: it would appear if it does work a usb handset can be used http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Controling_Ekiga_using_an_USB_phone only problem being you'll have to patch the kernel.
To cronocloud, maybe that's why you can't get your headphones/mic to work
