FragFX mouse on linux YDL?

hi, I recently purchased the FragFX controller/mouse for the PS3 in hopes that it would work on linux (given that it comes with a standard mouse).

I have managed to get the signal to lightup as green for mouse usage but the mouse doesnt move when it is in linux ... I am wondering if anyone else had purchased this product or if you have some suggestions on how I can configure the mouse to work.

it would be a real shame to take this back...
