BTW, if you compile the latest version of Hatari (v1.3.1 instead of v1.0.1), it has the same blank screen issue if you have 'Slower but more compatible CPU' on...though it works if you have 68010/68020/68040 CPU selected. Also, the same option being turned on seems to cause TOS 1.04 to crash.
Anyway, regarding v1.3.1... I originally looked for an RPM of it for Fedora, but the ones available (either ppc or ppc64) required some newer library files than what YDL 6.2 has available, so I downloaded the source and just ran make w/o altering anything and it made a working executable. I only tested the basic operation w/ multiple TOS versions and it seemed to work as expected...not sure if the extended video options and whatnot work right, but even though it says Falcon emulation is incomplete, I was surprised Falcon mode on a 68040 CPU and TOS 4.04 ROM came up w/ a desktop and even loaded some standard ST software OK. I also find it odd they have 68040 emulation, but no 68030.
I don't know how to make RPMs (the instructions seem rather involved for a simple program), but I made a tar.gz file of the contents of one of the Fedora RPMs substituting the hatari binary and writing a quick install text file. If anyone doesn't want to compile it themselves, here's a MEGAUPLOAD link to the tar.gz file I made:
