Configuring PS3 wireless controller outside of SDLMAME

Help! I accidentally configured the enter function for the ps3 controller from the default "up" to "none"! The keyboard controls weren't affected but I still can't configure the wireless controller portion. I tried reinstalling but it's still the same. Someone told me to delete the mame.ini file but didn't work.
