Yellow Dog Linux

I have a problem with my repositories. I have followed the 'Install software (the easy way) YDL 6' guide but I cannot download any packages via yum or the Add / Remove Programs GUI.

OK, I did a bit of playing around and I disabled the livna-stable.repo flag (enabled=0) and I seem to be able to obtain updates.

Could this be a case of the livna server being down (or akin)?
What would I be missing if I left this flag disabled?

yeah I think the livna site/repo may have been down, I couldn't get on it the other day either.
All of the livna-stable packages (that work on the ps3) are available from billb's bodega repo anyway so you can leave livna disabled.

Yes, normally livna is set up with a mirror list and when one is down/busy it's able to go to another. But here we're just accessing one server in particular with no mirror list, so that's probably why it happens occasionally. And yes, there's no need for it if you're using my ps3bodega repo.
