work around for g15 installation bug (post install hang) 6.1

just wondering if anyone has managed to find a work around for the
ydl 6.1 ps3 installation hang bug with the logitech g15 keyboard.

i have read reports replaceing keyboard with a usb keyboard with no usb hub works.

i am after a work around that still allows me to use my logitech g15 (broke and not buying another keyboard just to do a install)

anyways all ears and hopefully theres a positive response that doesnt require hardware change / going back to 6.0

if there isnt a work around yet i may go to ubunto as i currently have 2x 6.0 dvds and 3x 6.1 dvds in attempts to get everything going
(6.0 worked fine but couldnt get firefox 3.x going and people suggested to just use ydl 6.1)

broke and not buying another keyboard

i currently have 2x 6.0 dvds and 3x 6.1 dvds

maybe you could sell them on ebay or something, there's people like myself who have't got a computer or any means to burn the dvd, I got a usb logitec keyboard with touch mouse pad for £10

Oke also i have a G15 keyboard.

As work around for the problem:
When you type: install_ps3_XXXX enter
Right after that just un-plug your keyboard.

Most of the setup you only need the mouse.
UPDATE: DONT INSERT YOUR KEYBOARD
UPDATE: when you are @ the network setting you kan copy a part of you domain. By selecting richtclick and copy. (exampel: domain)
When you are @ the password section use the copyed tekst for password and change it later when you have installed it.

New problem is:

I can't boot white while the keyboard is connected. Have to wait until a see the login screen and then connect it.
And when i shutdown it wont shutdown @ the end its on hold. have to press power button for 15sec and it go off.

Solution for that is that i have SSH and VNC configured only i dont see what i am doing on my big screen ^^
