HELP

One day i was experimenting with yellow dog on the ps3, and i opened up an aplicatiion called enlightenment or something, but then my ps3 crashed and now when i boot up LINUX now it has the screen it had when it crashed i can click anything (i can move the mouse, though)

My question is is there anyway i can like reset the linux to factory setting without liek installing the whole OS again

Note: i can use the black screen when you first start up
