how do i get to vlc's snapshots

how do i get to vlc's snapshots

i see where the pics go /home/username/.local/share/vlc but i dont know how to get there without using terminal... any suggestions... i dont know what . local is and thats probably my problem

You have to use terminal.

Generally, when we want to hide a file in Linux, we prefix the name with a . So - if the filename is .local, it won't show up under most circumstances. However, from terminal, an ls -al will show it, and you can cd to it.

Or View->Show Hidden Files in Nautilus (or press Ctrl+H)

ok so i got there and then i moved the images to my desktop but when i tried to open them it wouldnt. i dont know what went wrong... any ideas
