Configuring PS3 Controller

I've got the PS3 controller set up to work as a mouse on YDL6.2, but have yet to figure out how to configure it the way I want. Right now it has limited functionality. Does anyone know where the configuration file is or how I might be able to get configured the way I want?

I think that would be the xorg.conf file based on what I see here:

Well round 1, 2 and 3 were unsuccessful I tried editing a few things from the xorg.config file, but everytime I changed the js0 section, it had no effect on it. I even tried deleting the js0 section and nothing. Even after deleting followed with a reboot, the PS3 controller still functioned exactly the same as if I hadn't touched anything. There must be another config file associated with it somewhere unless its connected to the mouse config...Any Idea's?
