I am following a guide that says I need boost C++ 1.34 or higher installed, so I checked yum and I have 1.34.1 which should be sufficient to continue on with. However when I go to build the program I get an error that the boost library wasnt found, and that I should specify the path that contains it.
Can anyone help me figure out where the library is at?

Try installing boost-devel-static.

That didnt work so I installed boost-devel and that fixed it.
However I've got a new error:
