Also I wanted to try swfdec instead of gnash. So I yum install swfdec swfdec-mozilla
It was starting to install and then I got a error that said missing dependency: libx264.so.55 is needed by package swfdec What does that mean & is swfdec still working?

I checked on swfdec and had the same problem -- it needs to be rebuilt because of some other packages that were updated. However, it appears the project is dead with no releases since 2008 (see also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swfdec), so I may just pull it instead.

I see. Thank you for looking into it. I think that totem used to play youtube really well with swfdec & the you-totem script. Oh well.

I guess it is mplayer & VLC only. I seem to get other sites with flash videos playing with keep tube and mplayer. VLC I like for Youtube playback with VLC-Tube. Youtube without Flash script isn't working right for me anymore. Although I think I have too many things like totem/mplayer/vlc etc installed at once and everything is messing up when it used to work flawless. I'm just going to do a fresh YDL install I think. Zerogame 0.52 is out & I think it will be better to do a fresh install instead of to keep installing the beta's over and over each other. Not to mention my background is off center in E-17 ever since I changed it to 131 to make fullscreen. I tried to change it back and forth but it won't fix no matter what. The background glitched & shifted out when I changed it.

Is a PS3 compatible YDL 6.3 ever going to come out or is it completely dead now since $ony sux?

I'm sure as more time goes by a Linux/Zerogame capable PS3 price will be worth a lot more!

Do you know why my totem movie player plays the movie for like 15-20minutes and then always lags out to no sound and the movie in slow motion? Screensaver? Any fix or just use VLC only?

What's the pixel resolution of the movie?

I'm not sure but it was a pretty old movie. It was Menace ll Society.

The TV I was watching on did not have 1080p capability. Only 720p and 1080i is why the component cable came up as 1080i only. I forgot that it couldn't do true 1080p.

That's "normal" -- you need to use the Windows > Cleanup Windows in E17 to fix.

Heh ... well, Fixstars is no longer updating YDL 6.2 (reasonable considering the circumstances) and nothing that Sony could do at this point would surprise me.
