Photo viewer with IPTC caption overlay (XnView?)

Hi All

First -- I appreciate all your development work and help for newbies for YDL on the PS3. Great job! Many thanks!

Now here's my problem:
I've got photo folders on a network share which carry IPTC captions. (They were exported from Picasa). I would like to display those albums as slide shows with their captions on my TV via the PS3. In PC3 mode I can run the slide shows but cannot display the captions.
To be more specific: I would like to display each photo with the caption overlayed at (say) the bottom centre of the picture (just as in Picasa).

Is there a photo viewer for YDL/PS3 that can do this?
I've been looking into XnView which seems to be able to do this by creating a slide show.
But is there a version of XnView that would work on YDL for PS3?
Is there another viewer that does the job?

I looked at the PPC version of Xnview they have available and it installs OK on YDL 6.2 but doesn't run.

Will have to find something else with that capability but I haven't seen anything yet.
