Program files that are supported on the ps3 ydl are with the extention .ppc, files that need to be compiles in order to make a .ppc program file are: .tgz, .tar.gz, other than that it can play and execute music files, pictures, openoffice documents, etc... Other than that the ps3 can read any file you want, for instance if you plug in a usb, or music player, or an external harddrive then the ps3 can read all the files on those items, also it can read all the files on a cd, dvd, or blue ray disc.

Yes, because most other program files are .dmg (mac osx) .exe (windows) which are for x86 pc's and not the ps3 which is a ppc machine

What? Dude your running Totem movie player.. snex9? Isnt that an emulating program for super nintendo.. Look at the file tag .smv it's not really a movie type of file, sorry.

There arn't any viruses on linux or any of the .ppc files that you have from the ydl install disk, or from the ps3bodega repos, etc.. Viruses don't exist for ppc linux.. Though there might be bugs, but bugs arn't really harmfull their just annoying because they cause freezez, glitches, and just random harmless stuff.. There could be many reasons why it's acting weard, mainly because it's slow due to yum checking for updates, and that it's not using all the processing power due to too much lode on the cpu to handle at times, etc.. If you have 6.1, then it's slower, because you haven't enabled memory as swap yet; but if you have 6.2, then swaps been automatically enabled and you should have a decent speed ps3.

My bad, it's actually . rpm, but it has to be in the powerpc format in order to work..

Is there anyway to cut and paste the text from them instead? That's infinitely more helpful.

my first screenshot shows that i cannot play recorded snes9x gameplay. even doe it has Option on doing so, it uploads in a "non viewable" format.
second screenshot shows an error on extracting a 7z file. i had no problem b4 extracting 7z, but idky it wont let me on this 1? (Taxi Riddim)

can both problems be solved? like "how can i upload recorded snes9x gameplay on totem video player"(note that mysnes9x does not have file extentions/compression option, all recorded video is only .smv NOT avi, mov, mp4 ect)

I've never really mesed with it before, but my understanding (after using your favorite search engine for you) is that snes9x's smv format is basically recorded input, not recorded video. So you can't play that in any multimedia player -- it would have to be played back from snes9x-gtk with the same rom loaded. I saw mention of some versions of snes9x with .avi recording, but I don't see that in snes9x-gtk.

Before most of us started using snes9x-gtk on PS3 Linux we used snes9x, but I don't think I want to go back to that version just to see if it offered .avi recording. It was generally difficult to configure for the Sixaxis.

There may be some screen recording applications you can use, but I've never tired any of them.

Yes - BUT - unless I can see the actual error message that is being thrown, it's impossible for me to answer your question. This is all I can tell from your screenshot:

is... is... is.. what, exactly? Corrupt? Partially Downloaded? Something else entirely?

So - all I know is that you're getting an error - not WHY you're getting an error.

All I can tell you with certainty is that - you're right - you can't extract the file.

Well you got one peer (that's you) that's trying to download a presumably copyrighted, illegal copy of a movie and posting a screenshot of it on a public forum, and no seeders (people with a complete copy of said file), so my guess is that Deluge is working fine.

Try downloading something legal like a Linux distro that has a good number of seeders and not too many leechers from here:

PS -- if you ask about where to find "good" illegal torrents you will be banned from this forum for the next 42 years.
