Howto make an custom version of YLD Linux?

Postby ps3cluster » 12 Oct 2010, 15:27

Right now i have 2 ps3 s running yellowdoglinux on them and plan to add eight more to create an ps3 cluster for running apache hadoop on it.

Is there a way to create a custom install cd or usb stick image for doing this and what do you think about the project?
How can i optimize apache hadoop running on ps3 based cluster?

Maybe get one set up the way you want then backup to external drive and restore to the others? Something like as described in this topic:

Powermac G4 1.25 GHz x2, 2 GB RAM, YDL 6.2
