updating hplib to support HP Deskjet 2050

I have an XP machine that the 2050 is connected to and shared from. I would like to setup YDL 6.2 to use that printer. I don't know how to see if the currently installed version HPLIP already supports it or not. But, I'm thinking it is not supported out of the box as fedora 11 doesn't support it out of box. The HPLIP shows this as a supported printer but I've not figured this out yet.

Any updated hplip and have the steps handy?

May not be much help, but since YDL 6.x is based on Centos we can often look for help there as well ... so here's a starting point at least:
