Downgrade to 3.15 help

I just picked up another PS3 to use for Linux. It's an early 80 GB (CECHE01) so I know that it can be downgraded. I can find plenty of tutorials on how to downgrade from 3.55 to 3.41 but then they all say "now you can jailbreak!" But I've got no interest in jailbreaking or custom firmware, I just want to run official firmware 3.15 for OtherOs. So can anyone point me to a tutorial to downgrade from 3.21 or 3.41 to 3.15?

Sorry - but there is no official Sony method of downgrading firmware. In addition, discussion of how to downgrade your PS3 would violate copyrighted information under the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) of the United States, where this forum is based.
