Fuppes
Posted: 21 Feb 2011, 12:08I would like to use my PS3 as media server and tried out 'ushare'. My impression is that 'ushare' is too lightweight and not much of the client device's functionality is handled. As an alternative, I tried running 'fuppes', http://sourceforge.net/projects/fuppes/ , http://fuppes.ulrich-voelkel.de/wiki/index.php?title=FUPPES:Community_Portal
The first impression is mixed... OK, with my client, a Pinell Supersound II, 'fuppes' works better that 'ushare' but it sometimes runs into 'segmentation fault' and 'broken pipe'.
Before I try to look into details it would be nice to know if someone has any experience with the 'fuppes' running on YDL PS3.
