and again: YDL 6.2 and the IBM cell SDK

hi folks,

please don't beat me up - I have an old issue and can't manage to fetch the necessary information from older threads in this forum.

I do have managed to install YDL 6.2 to my ps3.
Now I want the IBM cell SDK.

Unfortunally, IBM seems to have stopped their entire homepage about the cell and most things regarding this, it looks like this there now:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/power/

There are some things left on that page, for whatever reason, which looks like this:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/power ... index.html

However, do I have a cell sdk installed? I guess not, as stated here in the board somewhere, "only the open source part" is installed, I assume.

Can I still download and/or install the cell sdk, including not only compilers but in particular the docs?

I'm in hope for some info on this that is up to date (e.g. lets say about 6.2 and ibm cell sdk 3.1 or whatever the most current versions are...)

I'm also a little new to linux in general, all I know is that
Code: Select all
whereis cell

and
Code: Select all
whereis sdk

don't return anything.....

I did manage to find the 3.1 ISO's but I'm missing an RPM. Anyone know of any official download locations? Or has IBM swept the whole thing under the rug? :?
