I had to look it up. It appears BrOffice is a Brazilian localized version of OpenOffice. So I'd imagine performance would be similar. (I have no idea if they're still using OpenOffice code or if they've switched to LibreOffice.)
Sorry - I don't know anything more about it than that. I can't really read the Portuguese documentation.
As far as office suites go, OpenOffice (and the LibreOffice fork) are the main productivity suites for Linux. They're probably the best you're gonna find.
