YDL 6.0 Installation help

I recently installed ydl 6.o on my ps3...i went through all the steps correctly, i think, and i tried to run ydl on my ps3 for the first time and it did not work correctly, the opening screen comes up, the one with the 2 blue symbols and then the penguins below it...and then it says that ydl 6.0 is beginning and it never gets past that screen...i do not know what i did wrong can someone help me?

i followed the installation guide exactly how it instructed and now i am at the same screen except it is rendering a few error messages.....the first one says that it could not find filesystem "/dev/root" and then next 4 error messages say things about not finding such file or directory

Sounds like a problem with your install DVD ... See this post (near the bottom) re: checking the sha1sum on the .iso file and burning the DVD properly:
