Screen Loses signal during install - YDL 6 on PS3

Right after I start the installation i lose signal. About once every 2-3 seconds it will flicker on. I have tried every option from 480p-1080p. I am running on an HDMI cable on a 4p" Sanyo that is 1080P native. Any thoughts or suggestions? I have tried it on my 42" Panasonic and it seems ok.

Does the PS3 work okay on the Sanyo in Game mode? If you get the same behavior there, it might - stress might - be HDCP issues. That's the HD Copy Protection - the PS3 requires that HDMI monitors have it.

I have an HDMI->DVI cable going to my projector that does that unless you bend it just the right way.

Re: HDCP, I saw an article a while back that mentions a blinking display on a certain TV connected over HDMI (different brand, though).
