Suggestions on partition setup (for YDL 6.1 eventually)

Yeah, got a question.

My YDL 6 system is setup as 1 partition....yes, I know I probably should have /home on a separate one, but here's the thing, I don't want to limit the size of a /home partition. So is there any way I can setup my partitions so I can have /home separate (for easy upgrades), but not limit the size of either /home or /

It's not a big thing if I can't do that, I can always backup /home to external drive when upgrading to new YDL versions.
