PS3 Install with 6.1 - Installer/Loader issue

Same problem for me with a LogiTech G15 Rev2 connected to the PS3.

Hence I connected another USB keyboard with an internal USB hub and mouse connected to it, and installation went on.

All I have is a G15 Logitech KB right now, and it appears YDL is the best version of linux to install on the ps3 right now. Is my only choice to have to buy another "simpler" keyboard? Or is there a version of YDL that doesn't have this very annoying incompatibility? And why haven't they developed a fix for this?

If I remember correctly YDL 6.0 worked for me and my G15 rev2.
Try it out.

Thanks, YDL 6.0 does work with the G15....however trying to connect it to my network (wireless and ethernet) seems to be impossible. I tried any possible combination of settings and spent a while looking up troubleshooting info and guides, but the error message stating that "activation" of the device failed kept happening. I don't understand what's wrong but I am having no luck with this OS.

Still an issue in 6.2.
Installation hangs at "running /sbin/loader" when a Logitech G15 keyboard is connected (here rev2).

The corresponding bug #327 is still unassigned.
