PS3 20gb Install of Yellow Dog 6.1

Hello.
I Just downloaded the Yellow Dog 6.1 for the Ps3 that i own but im not sure if i can do it. My Ps3 is the 20gb Japanese Version and i wonder if i can still install it there. I can´t find any much information about this that´s why im asking here.

I don't see why there would be a problem. However, when you format from the Game OS you only have the option of giving 10 GB to the Game OS or 10 GB to the Other OS (YDL6). Since you'll need to give 10 GB to YDL, the space on your Game OS side would be severely limited. Not a problem if you don't plan on using the system for games.

yes ok, so ill give a try.
I really dont need space in the hard drive for the games... i only have a few saves from the matches i play... so i never use the space available on the hard drive.

ill post here after the install how it run in.

The thing i was asking was because in all faq and readme´s i found never talk about the 20gb version... neither if it´s possible or not.

From what I understand, it should be possible. Networking might prove interesting. Since you don't have WiFi available, it should default to Wired. (crosses fingers for you)

Ok just finished the instalation, all went fine, no errors, nothing bad, internet ok, all ok.
So you guys can add the 20gb Ps3 as supported for Yellow Dog
