.ISO image from a MacBook..... ?

Postby newdog » 31 Dec 2008, 05:49

As a serious newbie - that is a completely Linux ignorant mac user, I'd like to load up my PS3 with YDL. However i can't seem to burn an .iso image with Disk Utility. Does anyone have a way of burning an .iso DVD on a mac? The mac in question is a new MacBook - late 2008 loaded with OS X (10.5).

As a Mac ignorant Linux user, I can't help with that ... :P But NeoAmsterdam posted a method here -- maybe this will help:

Thanks for the pointer - I'm now guessing that the file I downloaded was faulty or incomplete - (as it is not "recognised" when I did NeoAmsterdam's first step and tried to mount it) is this a common problem from particular mirrors?
