Wi-fi issue w/YDL 6.1 Installed on PS3 60 GB

I'm having a wi-fi issue on in install of YDL 6.1 on a PS3 60 GB unit. I can't get wi-fi connection on this system. I used the following iso image download: yellowdog-6.1-ppc-DVD_20081119.iso . Install went smoothly, but everytime I try to setup wi-fi connection using FAQ how to on us.fixstars.com, I get a failed connection. Is there anything I missed on install setup?

PS Wi-fi is working PS3 !!!!
