Itried installing YDL 6.1 from iso burned on dvd but I cannot input anything with the ps3 wireless keypad at the kboot screen. Tried holding the blue button while turning on the power and nothing.
Ydl 6.1seems to recognize it when I plug and unplug it.
Any ideas how to activate this thing?
I have to mention that I have a 40gig ps3 and the even to swap hard drives was more complicated than most as I had to load the 2.60 OS onto a usb stick and use that to write the OS onto the drive before it would even boot up.

Bluetooth devices - like the wireless keypad - won't work with YDL until the install is completed. You can't use them during installation.
You'll have to find a generic USB keyboard to do the installation.
