I'm not going to try to smooth over what I did. I screwed up and walked away in disgust for many,many months. I am a (idiot) novice to YDL and linux but I want a nice O/S for my PS3. I also want to learn the ins and outs of this version of linux. I'm in desperation, I need assistance, help?
I had YDL 5.0 running on my PS3 and everything was fine with the exception of no wireless connectivity. I tried to upgrade a kernel to detect and inable the built in wireless function. This is where I totally failed and now all I get is;
kboot:
/init: eval: 1: /dev/sda1:/vmlinux-2.6.16-20061110.ydl.2ps3: not found
this string cycles roughly every 5 seconds. Aside from reformatting and partitioning the PS3 is there a command I can type in?
I have tried updating the kernel from the kboot prompt but isn't working. ARGH!!!!!!!!
Please help
Thanks-Rod
