Installing YDL 6.2 on ps3...w/ 480i SD13" TV - NETWORK ISSUE

So yeah hey, i just recently moved my ps3 from a huge 60inch 1080i setup to the worlds smallest tv, bumpin' on 13" 480i standard display... i had less problems installing the ydl when it came to the network configurations at partitioning and installation of YDL itself.
anyways basically its hard to read on this thing and i have 20/20 vision but basically i can't get a automatic DHP setup, i'm currently using hardwired ethernet cable but i didn't write anything in the blank spots and it said "this may cause problems later" anyways i can probably make a video of what i'm talking about on youtube if anybody needs to help me out... so please get back to me.
