hi there i have a problem when instaling yellowdog 6.2 on my 80 gigas ps3, i get stuck on usb bus 1 deregistered, then my ps3 freezes, i dont know what to go i lost 2 days lookink for a solution but i cant, please someone help me thank you

Just to rule out some things ... have you:

• Formatted the PS3 Hard Drive from the GameOS, giving at least 10 GB to the "Other OS" partition? (be sure to back up your GameOS data first if you haven't)
• Confirmed that the sha1sum on your .iso file is correct (see README post)
• Burned the install DVD with software such as imgburn that allows for verification after burning (see README post)

First thing you need to do is check your install media.

If you downloaded an ISO, you need to run SHA1SUM on the file you downloaded.

There are instructions on how to do this in the directory of the mirror you downloaded the ISO from.

(e.g. http://ydl.oregonstate.edu/iso/SHA1SUM-HOWTO )

Also - how did you burn the disc? We suggest using a program called IMGBURN, using the "Write Image To Disc" option. IMGBURN is free - a simple Google search will find it.

well i will try tomorrow burning with imgburn since i recorder with nero, need to buy dvds thanks for the anwers

well i had 10 gigas partion but maybe when i restard my ps3 something get wrong, i see on my ps3 less 10 gigas, i partionated again and then i saw less 20 gigas, but i tryed again and this worked something get wrong at first time, at this moment im instaling yellow dog 6.2 on my ps3, thank you all at this moment i am like a child, im very happy
