Installation help for ps3, stuck in kboot

Installed new 320gb hard drive and followed instructions on how to install. Got stuck in kboot section and couldn't get out. Turned off system. Then turned back on and just shows blue screen. So put back in the original 80gb hard drive, followed instructions and now back on kboot and can't do anything. reads flash drive and keyboard and mouse when removed and put back in. Comes up vmlinux-ps3:not found. Typing boot-ps3-game-os dont do s***.What the hell do I do?

Power off your PS3 in the back. Power it back on in the back. Hold the front soft power switch for at least 5 seconds - until you hear a distinct second beep. It should beep once (maybe twice) then pause, then beep.

This should put you back in PS3 GameOS with all factory settings restored.
