PS3 YDL 6.2 Install Issues!!!!

can someone PLEASE help me, im an epic linux noob and im really screwed atm. tryin to install YDL 6.2 on an SDTV using a scart lead, so iv installed it in 480i resolution. now though all i get to is the boot screen, where i type in the localhost login and the password. then it comes up with this;

[root@localhost ~]

what do i have to type in???? iv tried Xautoconfig and startx, but it just boots up for a second and then comes up with an enlightenment error saying the PNG files do not have loader support.

somone please help me out, iv looked everywhere on the net and i cant find any solutions on what to do next

Well - the normal solution after installing on an SDTV is to follow the procedure here:

However - the errors you're getting don't sound good. I'm not sure if that procedure will help you.
